Ruby Bryson Holcomb

Mrs. Ruby Irene Bryson Henson Holcomb, 83 , a resident of Brannon Court in Columbia, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at NHC/ Columbia Health Care.
Funeral services for Mrs. Holcomb will be conducted Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Bedford County native was the daughter of the late George and Louise Wallace Bryson and the widow of Horace Henson and John P. Holcomb. Mrs. Holcomb was a retired owner & operator of Ruby?s Beauty shop on Garden Street in Columbia and a former employee of Tennessee Knitting Mill. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by five nieces, Barbara Johnny Paisley of Columbia, TN, Linda W.T. Newcomb of Murfreesboro, TN, Carolyn Harold Roberts, Masel Billy Massey and Judy Matthews both of Columbia, TN; four nephews, William Frances Bryson of Columbia, TN, Larry Linda Bryson of Summertown, TN, Danny Bryson of Smyrna, TN and Gene Lou Ann Bryson of Columbia, TN; several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Bryson.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be staff of NHC/Columbia Health Care.
