Roy Lee Kelley

September 12, 1930 — February 8, 2004

Mr. Roy Lee Kelley, 73, a resident of North James M. Campbell B0ulevard, died Sunday, February 8, 2004 at NHC Hillview.

Funeral services for Mr. Kelley will be conducted Wednesday, February 11, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Donald Pruitt. Burial will be in the Knob Creek Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Bradley, Oklahoma native was the son of the late Walter and Willie Mae Ragsdale Kelley. He was the husband of Pauline Sullivan Kelley of Columbia. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Maury County Highway Department. He loved playing his guitar and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the House of Prayer Baptist Church.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Betty Wayne Harvey of Columbia, TN, Patricia Ronnie Craig of Culleoka, TN, Debra Jane Ricky Cleveland of Williamsport, TN, Donna Randy Whitley of Columbia, TN; a sister, Eula Mangrum of Dickson, TN; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Horace Kelley , Hubert Kelley and Eulus ?Bud?Kelley; four sisters, Evelyn Culberson, Adell Beard, Clara Lou Culberson, and Dolly Kelley; a grandson, David Stricklin.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Brandon Stricklin, Timmy Collins, Danny Stricklin, Len Harvey, Daniel Baker, Kevin Baker, Josh Davidson, Jonathon Davidson, and Justin Whitley.


Honorary pallbearers will be members of House of Prayer Baptist Church.
