Rose Watson Young

February 3, 1911 — November 11, 2002

Mrs. Rose Watson Young , 91, a resident of Summertown, died Monday, November 11, 2002 at NHC Columbia.

Graveside services for Mrs. Young will be conducted Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at the Arlington Cemetery with Paul Walker officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral home.

The Lawrence County native was the widow of Walter Young. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son-in-law, Rufus Jackson of Mt. Pleasant; one grandson, Greg Ivie of Mt. Pleasant; three granddaughters, Stephanie Hunter Robinette of Mt. Pleasant, Suzanne Ben Crenshaw of Nashville, and Rosemary Ray Cothran of Mt. Pleasant; four great-grandsons, Jackson Robinette of Mt. Pleasant, Nathan Crenshaw of Nashville, Chase Cothran and Mason Cothran of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathryn Jane Jackson; three brothers, Woodrow Watson, Granville Watson, and John Watson; one sister, Nora Keltner.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of NHC of Columbia and friends and neighbors of Summertown.
