Mrs. Rosalie Marie Janosik, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, age 88, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on April 24, 2012.
She was born in Chicago, IL to the late Patrick and Rose Kilroy Moran. She was the wife of the late Frank Janosik, whom she wed on September 17, 1949.
Mrs. Rosalie Janosik raised three children in the Chicago suburbs and moved to Columbia, Tennessee in 1991 to live out retirement with her late husband Frank. Frank and Rosalie celebrated their Golden anniversary at the Opryland Hotel in 1999 with all their children and grandchildren.
Mom was active in the lives of her family by going on trips and enjoying holiday dinners and birthdays together. Her favorite activity was going out to eat and talking to everybody.
In her early years, mom loved to dance. After her marriage, she left a position at Bell Telephone Company to live out her dream of being a full time mother and homemaker. In her later years she became a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mom dearly loved Jesus and prayed daily for the lives of her family. She was always very happy and smiling and saw the good in everything. She loved to talk and always had stories about her family and their activities. She was very proud of her family and made sure everybody knew they were her children..
Mom is now in heaven with Jesus and wil be sorely missed by her children on earth.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Rev. Davis Chackaleckel officiating. Visitation will beheld in the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Mrs. Janosik is survived by her loving family including: her son Daniel Elva Janosik of Nashville; Daughters: Diane Tom Sullivan Johnston of Foley, AL and Kathy Richard Perry of Summit, IL; grandchildren: Kelly DeWight Amy Hatmaker of Old Hickory, Ramona Lee Davis of Oswego, Il, Kelly Mick Scott of Wilmer, Al; great-grandchildren, Casey Hatmaker, Daniel Hatmaker, and Jada Hatmaker of Old Hickory and Kyla and Joshua Scott of Wilmer, AL. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Joshua Johnston and a son-in-law, Randy Johnston. The family would like to express love for Mom and everything she accomplished during her life. We will miss you mom! Pallbearers will be Richard Perry, Mick Scott, Kelly Hatmaker, Casey Hatmaker, Daniel Hatmaker, Lee Davis, and Tom Sullivan.
