Ronald Walton Glass, Sr.

Ronald W. "Santa Claus" Glass, Sr., age 62 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away February 22, 2012 in Columbia, TN.
Mr. Glass was born to the late Fred "Buster" and Katherine Gregg Glass in Mt. Pleasant on January 12, 1950. After graduating from Mt. Pleasant High School, He married Wanda Sisk. The family shared that Ronnie was a huge Tennessee Titans football fan, and was often referred to as "Santa Claus" by his many friends.
The family will accept friends into the Mt. Pleasant Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Jeff Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in the Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
In addition to his wife of forty years, Ronnie's children survive him: Brandy Ron Rochelle of Hampshire, Tina Blalock of Hampshire, Jason Glass of Summertown, and Ronald Walton "Homer" Glass, Jr. of Florida; his grandchildren: Blake and Aaron Rochelle of Hampshire, Shawn, Kara, and Kaitlyn Blalock of Hampshire, Tyler and Matthew Glass of Mt. Pleasant, Jackson Glass of Texas, and Aiden Maddox of Georgia; his siblings: Roy Glass of Mt. Pleasant, Peggy McKennon of Mt. Pleasant, Donnie Glass of Mt. Pleasant, Billy Carol Glass of Columbia, Kay Larry Casias of Hohenwald. He is preceded in death by his siblings Freddy and Martha Glass.
Pallbearers will be Terry "Bones" Odom, Sammy Frierson, Don Ferguson, Stan McCluskey, Clyde Fields, and Travis Adams. Honorary Pallbearers will be brothers, brothers-in-laws, and nephews.
