Ronald J. Faile, age 80, a resident of Quail Drive in Lawrenceburg, departed this life on Friday, December 10, 2010 at his residence.
Born July 12, 1930 in Akron, OH, son of the late Jason and Dorothy Crews Faile. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the US Air Force after 27 years, serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam and he was a member of the VFW, DAV and TREA. He was well versed in numerous subjects, but especially loved history and political science.
He is survived by his brother: Wendell Faile of Cathedral City, CA; step-daughters: Amanda Mark Weeks of Murfreesboro, Sherry Ray Abreu of Columbia and Penny Lee Craine of Nashville; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step-son: David Spencer. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Ben Fisher.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, January 22 at the American Legion Post #146 in Loretto, TN.
