Ronald Garrett

Ronald Eugene Garrett passed away in Columbia, TN on March 18, 2024, at the age of 58. 

He is a native of Illinois and spent most of his life in Cicero, Illinois with his last years being lived in Florence, Alabama. Ron had a love for NASCAR, Van Halen, and his pets (Brats). His favorite hobby was making model cars.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Gladys and Buddy Phillips, his father Melvin Garrett, his brother John Phillips and nephews Jeremy Stewart and Bradley Norton. Ron is survived by brothers Billy (Debbie) Norton and Michael (Nina) Phillips; sisters Deborah (Jerry) Stewart, Debbie (DWayne) Garrison, Bonnie (Jimi) Weaver, Lisa Norton, and Jenny (Mondo) Medina; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, & great-nephews. 

There will be no funeral service, per Ron's request. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations for final expenses. If you'd like to donate please email Kayla Weeks at emeraldmanagement1@gmail.com for details.
