Roburda Harbison

Mrs. Roburda Burns Harbison, age 73, resident of R.O. Peach Road in the Theta Community, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2006, in Maury Regional Hospital

Funeral services for Mrs. Harbison will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Tommy Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Theta Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Burton Love Burns and Rosa Shepard Burns. She was the wife of 56 years of Robert Carl Harbison of Theta. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked at Early?s during the Christmas season. She was very active in her church, Theta Baptist Church, where she was the oldest member.

In addition to her husband she is survived by five daughters: Cheryl Joe Bailey of Spring Hill, Sandra Harbison, Denise Larry Stanfill and Carlene Counce, all of Theta and Joanne Farris Lovett of Thompson Station; one son: Carl Harbison, Jr., of Theta; two sisters: Doris Malugin of Columbia and Hazeline Long of Donelson; two brothers: Leroy Gloria Burns of Columbia and Donnie Wanda Burns of Theta; 11 grandchildren: Chris Ladonna Bailey of Franklin, Brian Bailey of Spring Hill, Anthony Stephanie Stanfill of Theta, Jason Tina Stanfill of Pouslbo, WA, Cody Lovett and Justin Lovett of Thompson Station, Johnathan Harbison of Theta, Kim Chris Cole of White House, Lanita Stephen McClain of White Bluff, Brittney Harbison of Franklin and Courtney Chris Johnson of Hendersonville; thirteen great-grandchildren: Kayla Bailey, Lauren Bailey and Madison Bailey, of Spring Hill, Austin Bailey and Abi Bailey of Chapel Hill, Bradley Cole and Brooke Cole of White House and Tanner McClain of White Bluff, Alaina Stanfill of Theta, Sydney Pickle and Lilibeth Regynski, of Pouslbo, WA and Alex Johnson and Will Johnson of Hendersonville.

She was preceded in death by one son: Michael Anthony Harbison, one sister: Mary Jean Mullins and one brother: David Gerald Burns.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great-grandson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Theta Baptist Church, Jimmy Davis, Ronnie Sparkman, Renis Baker, Faye Baker and Ms. Ruth Peach.
