Robert William Rowden, age 85, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Robert was born on April 16, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Loyd and Jessie Rowden. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Robert married Claudette Cecile Allain and they shared thirty years together. Robert was a design engineer for Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed building radio control boats, tinkering in his shop, reading magazines, drafting, and drawing. Robert deeply loved his family and was very loved by his family.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date in Michigan.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Claudette Rowden of Columbia, Tennessee; daughters Fern (William) Tocco of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Patricia (Daniel) Hatley of Woodhaven, Michigan, Teresa (Brian) McEntee of Rochester, Michigan, JoAnn Watters of Columbia, Tennessee, and Charlene LeBlanc of Culleoka, Tennessee; grandchildren Bill, Tara, Matthew, Kelly, Danny, Stephanie, Megan, Sean, and Celine; five great-grandchildren; and brother Glen Rowden.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Loyd and Jessie Rowden.
