Robert Lee Stokes, Sr.

Mr. Robert Lee ?Bob? Stokes, Sr., 79, a resident of Rutherford Lane in Columbia, passed away Wednesday November 16, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Stokes will be conducted Friday, November 18, 2005 at 10:00 am at the Williams Funeral in Columbia with Reverend Gene Shelton and Brian Wiesinger officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Pilot Knob, MO, he was the son of the late Fred Stokes and Irene Ureta and husband of the late Mary Okalene Hall Stokes. He was a retired field engineer with IBM, a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene and a US Veteran of both the Navy and the Army.
He is survived by two sons, Michael L. Patricia Stokes of Madison, AL and Robert Lee Denise Stokes, Jr. of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Stokes and Kathryn Anne Stokes, both of Madison, AL, Robert Lee Stokes, III and Ashley Marie Stokes both of Franklin, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rob Stokes, Wayne Hall, Jeremy Hall, Jerry Hall, Patrick Schipani and Harry Montgomery.
