May 9, 2003

Mr. Robert L."Jerry" Boshers, 69, a resident of Biffle Lane in Hampshire, and formerly of Columbia, died Friday, May 9, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Boshers will be conducted Monday, May 12, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The Herbert Griffin Post # 19 will provide military honors. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the husband of Pearl Potts Boshers and the son of the late Lee Roy and Gracie Lovell Boshers. He was a retired phosphorus operator from the Occidental Chemical Company and a member of the Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Boshers is survived by a sister, Dorothy Lyles of Granbury, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Luther Lucy Potts of Columbia and Darrell Melissa Potts of Hampshire; a sister-in-law, Joyce Potts of Hohenwald; special friends Eddie and Jean Richardson, Gerald and Starlene Buie and Brandon Voss; a very special friend, Buie Mac Williams and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Boshers is preceded in death by one son, Randall "Randy" Lee Boshers, one sister, Doris Marie Brooks and two brothers-in-law, John Wayne Potts and William L. "Bill" Brooks.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Potts, Derek Potts, Donnie Beech, Richard Kennedy, Billy Brooks, Callaway Dial, Mike Tharp, Jeff Holbrook, Terry Dial and Alex Cortner.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Ready Sunday School Class, Gary Baker, the Dialysis Associates employees, Dr. Barr, Dr. Gardner, Dr. Kacki and his co-workers from Occidental.

Memorials may be made to the building fund of the Northside Baptist Church or any charity of your choice.
