Robert Wayne James

Robert Wayne James, age 82, passed away on August 18, 2023 in Columbia, Tennessee. Robert was born on June 23, 1941 in Cass Co. Nebraska.

He was a devoted family man.  He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren beyond measure. Robert loved being with family watching all the ball games with his kids, collecting walnuts with his son Eddie, and them cracking them open. He loved making everyone laugh and smile as much as he could. He also had a good time showing off his hilarious basketball skills to everyone that would watch.

Robert was a proud Navy verteran. He served with great honor on the USS F.D. Roosevelt. He served with pride and honor that was unmatched and will be forever remembered for his service.

Robert is survived by his loving and dedicated wife: Debra James; children: Nikki James Butler (Zach) and Eddie James (Ashlee); grandson: Luca Lyndal Butler; granddaughter: Reese Harper James; and sister: Lee Lenners (Ray).
