Mr. Robert Harry Brown, age 78, a resident of Columbia passed away on Thursday, May 10, in Maury Regional Hospital
Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be conducted Monday at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 3:00 P.M. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
The Detroit, MI, native was the son of the late Ernest and Pearl McCrary Brown. He was the husband of Maxine Ruth Dudley Brown of Columbia. He retired in 1976 from the City of Detroit as a Sanitation Engineer. Mr. Brown was an Army veteran of WW II, a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his sister: Betty Wright of Grayling, MI; his children: Terry Konopski of Wixom, MI, Shirley Kenneth Probe of Culleoka, Joy Calhoun of Columbia, Audrey Morgan Moore of Koppell, TX and Jim Shelley DeWitt of Southgate, MI; grandchildren: Mike Bugaski, Matt Bugaski, Tonya Bugaski, Megan Bugaski, Scott Probe, Deborah Probe, Cameron Probe, Shawna Sacks, Bill Allen, Jaimie Michelle DeWitt, and Sheila Singleton; great-grandchildren: Jezanna, Jagr, Colin, Christian and Tomas Bugaski; Shelby and Jacob Sacks, Elizabeth and Ashley Allen, Tiffany, Isaac, Amanda and Derek Singleton; great-grandchild: Hailey Elizabeth Kemp. He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Joy Sedlar and a son-in-law: Ricky Calhoun.
