Mr. Robert Ed ?Blue John? Lewis, 73 , a resident of Lyons Lane in Columbia, died Friday, January 7, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral service for Mr. Lewis will be conducted Monday, January 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points, Kenneth Jenkins , Ray Lewis and Pastor Rudy Thrasher officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Limestone County, Alabama native was the son of the late George Washington and Virgie Birdsong Lewis. He was the widower of Margaret Russell Lewis. Mr. Lewis was retired from J. E. Woodard Elementary School as custodian and a truck driver for Smith and Attkisson Tucking Company. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his children, Janie JerryOsborne of Culleoka, TN, Shirley Lewis of Columbia, TN, Shelia Thomas Holt of Culleoka, TN, Charles Melissa Lewis, Donald Teresa Lewis , Mary Joey Beckum, Robert Bubba Lewis and Sissy Chad Mills all of Columbia, TN; two sisters, Rachel Jimmy Davis and Patricia Gail Rick Holloway both of Summertown, TN; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death a sister, Lucille Martin.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Jenkins, Jimmy Tennyson, Marsh Dugger, Wayne Hall, Randall Scott, and Thomas Simmons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Wells, Herbert Conner, Richard King, Jimmy Chapman, Alvin Spears, former truck drivers of Smith and Mc Canless Trucking, and Dr. John Simmons.

Memorials may be made to the Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ, 2000 Williamsport Pike, Columbia, Tennessee 38401.
