Robert E. Crawford, age 24, a resident of Harlan Road in Columbia, passed away on Thursday, October 5, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services for Robert will be conducted Monday at 7:00 P.M. in the St. Peter?s Episcopal Church in Columbia with Rev. Thomas S. Wilson, Rev. J. Daniel Vannoy and Rev. Michael Murphy officiating. Inurnment will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the St. John?s Churchyard.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia and on Monday from 6:00 P.M. until time of service at St. Peter?s Episcopal Church Parrish Hall.
The Aurora, IL, native was the son of Richard E. Sr., and Barbara Hoffmann Crawford. He was a 2001 graduate of Spring Hill High School and was a volunteer for the Kids Fighting Aids Corporation. He was a member of St. Peter?s Episcopal Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents include three brothers: Harold Mary Crawford of Old Monroe, MO, Steven Crawford of Columbia and Richard Crawford, Jr., Columbia who was also his godfather; six sisters: Kimberly Randy Harvel of Lone Oak, AR, Angela Jeffrey Thomas of Joliet, IL, Valerie Dan Knight of LaFarge, WI, Victoria Crawford, Erica Crawford and Leticia Crawford, all of Columbia; maternal grandparents: Raymond and Anna Krolak of Aurora, IL, paternal grandmother: Betty Crawford of Big Sandy, TN; godmother: Joan Tonnesson of Fla.; one special nephew: Isiah Crawford of Columbia; special friend Allison Kinzer of Columbia several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends at St. Peter?s Episcopal Church and the Pentecostal Church of Christ.
