Mr. Robert C. Dudley, 79, a resident of East 9th St. in Columbia, died Saturday, August 17, 2002 at Life Care Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Dudley will be conducted Monday, August 19, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Kevin White and Elmer Lusk officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was the son of the late Arllie G. and Allie B. Powers Dudley and husband of Mary Virginia Crigger Dudley. He was retired as a telephone line worker for Wright and Lopez Construction Company. He a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a brother, George Parker Dudley of Winchester, Tn. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey Ray and Joe Bill Dudley.
Pallbearers will be David Dudley, Jim Edwards, Grey Lusk, Tommy Hemphill, Randy Jones, Dwayne Hickman, Bill Jones, Donald White, Richard Farris and Boyd Wood.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Eastside Church of Christ.
