Robert Bishop

Robert “Bob” Bishop, age 74, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, August 25, 2022 in Columbia, Tennessee.
Bob was born on March 13, 1948 to the later Herbert and Anna Bishop in Flint, Michigan.
Bob was very handy. He was a skilled woodworker. He could make and invent almost anything. His handiness came into play for his friends and family. He was always willing to help people in any way possible. On his off time from woodworking, he would love to travel. He would take the motor home he had with his wife and they would travel across the country.
Bob will be deeply missed by his friends and family around him.
Bob is reunited in heaven with his parents; and brothers: Al Bishop and Jerry Bishop.
Bob leaves behind his legacy in his wife of 43 years and love of his life: Karen Bishop; son: Jason Bishop; and siblings: William (Meredith) Bishop, Mary Ann Bishop, Donna Schmidt, Rita Brockman, and Daniel (Carmen) Bishop.
A service for Bob will be held, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to the start of the service at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Bob will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.
