Rita Arlene McBride, age 89, passed away May 9, 2014 at Sterling House in Columbia, Tennessee.
Rita was born August 5, 1924 in Flint, Michigan to the late William McBride and the late Edith Hayward McBride. She was the wife of the late Raymond R. Stevens, who preceded her in death December 27, 1997. She worked as a technician at General Motors in Flint.
She is survived by her children Timothy (Kristin) Stevens of Spring Hill, Tennessee and Linda Stevens of Flint, Michigan, grandchildren Nicholas Stevens, Ayden Stevens and Krista Stevens, one brother Dale McBride of Flint, Michigan.
The family will visit with friends Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will also visit with friends Wednesday May 14, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in Swartz Creek, Michigan. Graveside services will follow the visitation at Flint Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m.
