Ricky Jones

Ricky Landon Jones, age 54, passed away on September 11, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
Ricky was born on December 25, 1966, to Larry Jones and Alice LeMay in Columbia, Tennessee.
Ricky was a family man and was always cherishing time with his kids and grandkids. He would plan these moments and make sure they had a big meal to sit down and eat. He was known for his cooking and baking skills. When he wasn’t cooking a meal for his family, he was probably watching sports on the tv. He enjoyed watching all sports, but especially the Tennessee Vols. Baseball and bowling were a big part of Ricky’s life. He grew up playing baseball and enjoyed bowling.
If Ricky wasn’t watching sports or cooking a family meal, you could probably find him on a bank or dock, somewhere fishing. Fishing was Ricky’s peacetime.
Ricky was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Ricky is survived by his daughter: Hilary Duncan (John); parents: Larry Jones (Debbie) and Alice LeMay; Girlfriend: Carole Morrissey; stepchildren: Misty Love (Jacob), Brandon Ring, and Waylon Morrissey; Brother: Kevin Jones (Laura); grandchildren: Landon Duncan, Everly Duncan, Oakley Duncan, Bradley Love, Hailey Love, Madeline Carroll, Lily Ring, Sophie Ring, Abrie Ring, and Ada Ring.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee at 1:00 PM with family receiving friends an hour prior to service. Mylen Coble will be officiating.
