Mr. Ricky A. Carroll, age 47, a resident of Greenview Drive in Columbia, passed away on Sunday, April 1, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Ricky will be conducted Friday at 5:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 3:00 pm until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Born in Salem, IL, he was the son of Allen Carroll of Society Hill, S.C. and Carolyn Squibb Carroll Sands of Salem, IL and husband of Esperanza Hope Ramos Carroll. He was a paint inspector for Saturn, an avid lover of trains, a Cardinal fan and a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his sister, Cindy Bisel of Punta Gorda, FL; step-father, John Sands of Salem, IL; half sister, Semiko Carroll of Society Hill, S.C.; step-sons, Ruben Garza and Nathan Garza, both of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Cheyenne Garza, Ashley Garza, Gavin Garza, Tyren Garza and Josie Garza, all of Wisconsin; niece, Haley Bisel of Florida; nephew, Micah Bisel of Indiana and great niece, Veronica Thompson of Florida.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tillman Bragg, Bruce Robertson, Jim Arnold, David Love, Steve Holloway, Oscar Aquino, Jerry Hale, Steve Decker and Wayne
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
