Mr. Rickie N. Calhoun, 51, a resident of Red Bud Lane in Columbia, died Sunday, September 26, 2004 in Culleoka.
Funeral services for Mr. Calhoun will be conducted Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Trigg County, Kentucky native was the son of Bill and Magdalene Noel Calhoun of Cadiz, Kentucky. He was the husband of Joy Calhoun of Columbia. He was a diesel mechanic for Cassens transport in Smyrna, Tennessee.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a step daughter, Shawna Sacks of Columbia, TN; a step son, Bill Amanda Allen of Columbia, TN; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Allen, Ashley Allen, Shelby Sedlar, and Jacob Sacks all of Columbia, TN; three brothers, Barry Debbie Calhoun of Grosse Ile, MI, Brent Calhoun of Somerville, AL, and Greg Janet Calhoun of Cadiz, KY; his mother and father-in-law, Bob and Maxine Brown of Columbia, TN. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Joy Sedlar and a sister, Sandra Proffitt.
Pallbearers will be Brent Calhoun, Greg Calhoun, Bill Allen, Jim DeWitt, Mark Fairbanks, and Bill Tripp.
