Rickey Lane Workman

Rickey Lane Workman, age 46, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at his home in Mt. Pleasant.

Rickey was born on March 6, 1969 to RL Workman and the late Pauline Massey Workman in Columbia, Tennessee. Rickey worked for over twenty years in the shipper manufacturing field. Rickey enjoyed going to yard sales and loved to get a good deal. Some of his favorite past times include hanging out at Mr. Thompson’s. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Dalton Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Blowing Springs.

Rickey is survived by his father RL Workman of Mt. Pleasant; brothers Randy (Theresia) Workman of Mt. Pleasant and Ronnie Workman of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews; uncles “Red” Bobby Gene (Janie) Workman, Bill “Bobbie” Workman, Jackie (Cindy) Massey, and Wayne (Denice) Massey; and aunts Faye “Wallace” Chapman, Jodi Crews, Vickie Sutherland, William (Wanda) Massey, Shirley Ambrose, Sue (Tony) Thompson, and Annie Henson.

Rickey was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Workman and sister Karen Jean Workman.

Pallbearers will be William Massey, Wayne Massey, Jackie Massey, Bill Workman, Luke Fisher, and Justin Cook.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Allen.
