Rickey Johnson

Rickey Johnson, age 66, passed away in his home early in the year.

Rickey was born on February 26, 1954, in Franklin, TN, to his late parents Robert Carothers and Annie E. Johnson here in the middle Tennessee area.

Rickey was a graduate of Franklin High School and enlisted to serve his country in the United States Army. After serving his country, Rickey settled back down in his native Tennessee, working at Nashville Bridge Company, Aladdin, and Gibson Guitar in Nashville.

He was a fan of golf and a lifelong fan of football, always rooting for his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rickey was a classic man who always dressed his finest and stayed true to himself.

Rickey was an avid reader and enjoyed the comfort of a good book. He also enjoyed going to the movies, talking politics, and taking a drive down to Franklin to spend time with family.

A graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with on Friday October 2, 2020, beginning at 11:00 am.

Rickey is survived by his daughter: Elita Dao of Corona, CA; Rickey T. Johnson of Nashville, TN; grandchildren: Ella Dao, Myles Dao, and Savannah Dao, all of Corona, CA and a host of family members in Franklin, TN that will cherish his memory.
