Rickey Adam Seagraves, age 23, a resident of Trousdale Lane in Columbia, passed away on Sunday, November 29, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Funeral services for Adam will be conducted Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 4:00 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.
Born July 14, 1986 in Maury County, Adam was the son of Rickey and Leta Deavers Seagraves. He worked in the shipping department of Southeastern Shirt Factory and as a cashier and bagger for Food Lion. Adam loved wrestling, auto racing and monster trucks.
Survivors in addition to his parents, include: his grandparents: Eugene & Marie Seagraves of Columbia; aunts and uncles: Sherry Dale, Billy Seagraves, and Charles McCoy, all of Columbia, Wanda Walton of Pulaski, Ronnie Seagraves of Lewisburg, Terry Seagraves of Williamsport, Darla Blackwell of Hohenwald; his faithful dog: Phoebe; numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandmother: Willene Defoe.
Pallbearers will be Eric Hase, Steven Wayne, Mitchell Gray, Dustin Bradford, Trey Autry and Curtis Guthrie. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Southeastern Shirt and Food Lion.
