Mr. Richard Arthur Ouellette, age 59, of Columbia, passed away at Maury Regional Medical Center on Saturday, February 18, 2017.
Richard was born on June 20, 1957 to Richard Norman Ouellette and Lucille Claire Bourgeois Ouellette in El Paso, Texas. He married Connie Jean Maggard on June 8, 1985. He was a retired Op Tech for General Motors. Richard was a musician who avidly loved playing rock and roll music on his guitar. He enjoyed golfing and poker, especially since his retirement. His family recalls that he was always someone who would do his best for his family and neighbors to improve their lives. He was a man who put others before himself.
Left behind to remember all the wonderful memories of Mr. Ouellette is his wife: Connie Ouellette; parents: Richard and Lucille Ouellette; children: Jimmy (Jessica) Ouellette, Rachel Perchette and Richie Ouellette; grandchildren: Jackson, Chloe and Jaden Perchette, Faith Stone and Callie Ouellette; siblings: William Ouellette and Catherine (Dan) Moore; parents-in-law: Jimmie and Doris Maggard; brothers-in-law: Sherman (Altha) Maggard and James Maggard; sister-in-law: Patricia (James) Zabik; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
The family will also visit with friends at Stark Funeral Home in Ypsilanti, Michigan on Wednesday, the 22nd from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held on Thursday, the 23rd of February, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. also at Stark Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti.
