Richard Alden Morton passed away on December 26, 2018 at TriStar Spring Hill ER. He was 58 years old.

Richard was born April 27, 1960 to John Alden Morton and the late Bunnie Martin Morton in Columbia, Tennessee. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering and worked as an Electronic Technician for AT & T. Education was very important to him and he encouraged his children to study and do well in their respected fields. He was an avid sport fan and loved UT football. He was a family man who loved his children and niece and encouraged them in everything they did
by traveling to sporting events, helping with projects and praising the artistic nature of his daughter. He loved to be goofy and entertain his family and was very active in his church family.

Richard is survived by his wife; Kristina Morton, son; John Alden Morton, II, daughters; Katherine Ann Morton and Allison Marie Morton, father; John Alden Morton, sister; Amanda Cates, niece; Olivia Cates, brothers-in-law; Cameron Haack (Barbie) and Craig Haack (Becky), father-in-law; Roger Haack. He was preceded in death by his mother; Bunnie Morton.

Services will be Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia, TN at 2:00 pm with Brad Mathias officiating. Visitation with family is 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
