Richard Krokker

August 20, 1927 — July 8, 2006

Mr. Richard Krokker, 78, a resident of Kedron Road in Spring Hill, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Krokker will be conducted Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 10:00 am at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Columbia on the Nashville Highway with Pastor Charles Westra officiating. Entombment will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.until service time at the church.

Born in Lennon, MI, he was the son of Matthew and Genevieve Miller Krokker. Mr. Krokker retired from the State of Michigan Department of Natural Resources Data Systems Analyst as an assistant Section Chief. He served in the United States Army during World War II.and was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his children, Lori Jim Baughman of Austin, TX, Mary Knopp of Columbia, Jeffry Robin of Summertown and Ann Kip Ellis of Columbia; grandchildren, Patrick Jenny Brown of Holt, MI, Megan Steve Herald of Ninevah, IN, Joseph Voss of Columbia, Jason Krokker of Eaton Rapids, MI, Savannah Krokker of Summertown, Casey Ellis, Morgan Ellis and Jordan Ellis all of Columbia; two brothers, James Mary Krokker of Dimondale, MI and John Marge Krokker of Lansing, MI; ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn and grandson, Jordan Voss. Pallbearers will be Patrick Brown, Joseph Voss, Jason Krokker, Kenneth Noah, Jim Baughman and Kip Ellis.
