Richard James, Jr., age 60, a resident of Oak Valley Drive in Spring Hill, TN and a former resident of Main Street in South Williamsport, PA, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the NHC/Columbia Nursing Home.
A memorial service will be at the family's convenience.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Corsicana, TX, he was the son of Richard and Frances Slaughter James, Sr. and the husband of Linda Newcomb James. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children: Heather Ben Diles of Columbia, TN, Tracy Jeremiah Rogers of Spring Hill, TN and Benjamin Kelle James of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren: Hannah Diles, Harrison Diles and Emily Diles, all of Columbia, TN; sister: Lisa Bob Ritchie of Searcy, AR.
