Richard Frey

Mr. Richard Frey, 77, resident of Blue Branch Road in the Yokley Community of Giles County died Friday, February 21, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital.
A memorial Service for Mr. Frey will be conducted Monday, February 24, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Miller and Rev. James Maddox officiating. The family will visit friends Monday from 10:00a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in the Gibsonville Cemetery.
A Cordell, Oklahoma native, he was the son of the late Edward and Minnie Schultz Frey. He was the husband of Iris Delores Bruner Frey of the Yokley Community. He was retired from Ursa Farmers Co-op in Meyer, Illinois and was a long-time superintendent for Jarvis Construction Company in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was an avid woodworker and hunter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Delores Ron Teter of Augusta, Kansas, DeLayne Boyce Wear of Columbia, and Rebecca Bob Boyd of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; two grandsons, Justin Wear of Knoxville and Jeremy Wear of Columbia; one granddaughter, Rachel Boyd of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one sister, Clara Herbert Miller of Corn, Oklahoma; and one nephew, Rev. Gary Linda Miller of Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Bob Darling of Redlands, California.
Honorary pallbearers will the three grandchildren.
