Richard Edwin Hanner, Sr.

Mr. Richard Edwin Hanner, Sr., 75, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at his residence on Pine Circle in Lawrenceburg.
A memorial service for Mr. Hanner will be conducted Thursday, March 17, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mimosa Masonic Lodge in Lawrenceburg. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the masonic lodge . Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of local arrangements.
Born in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of the late James P. and Dorothy Dardis Hanner and husband of Frances Blakemore Hanner. Mr. Hanner was the owner of Hanner & Associates, a real-estate and stockbroker firm. He was a member of the Mimosa Masonic Lodge #542, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Shriner and a member of the Lawrenceburg Rotary.
He is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Mark Merriman of Marietta, GA and Lisa Biddulph of Taylorsville, GA; sons, Richard Hanner, Jr. of Augusta, GA and Gary Lissa Hanner of Guffey, CO; a sister, Claire Stuart of Greenville, SC; 12 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society or to a charity of choice.
