Richard C. Dugger

Richard Dugger, age 64, a resident of Enterprise Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, in Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Dugger will be conducted Friday at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Hueston Marshall and Randy McNeese officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 3:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Maury Co. native was the son of the late Robert ?Bob? and Aline Alexander Dugger. He was the husband of 44 years of Elizabeth Barnes Dugger of Mt. Pleasant. He was a truck driver for Amerigas , formerly Tex-Gas, where he was employed for 30 years. He was a devoted fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a bird lover and avid fisherman. He was a member of the Beech Hill Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his boys: Jermy Amanda Cothran and Jeffrey Brandy Cothran, both of Mt. Pleasant; his pride and joy: Ryan Cothran, Annabelle Cothran and William Cothran, all of Mt. Pleasant, Will Steward and Clay Barnes, both of Columbia; five brothers: Jimmy Irene Dugger, Lee Wilma Dugger, Rayburn Geraldene Dugger and John Linda Dugger, all of Mt. Pleasant and Charlie Marion Dugger of Hohenwald; one sister: Barbara Baker of Hohenwald; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Paul Cothran, Roger Howell, Ronnie Barnes, Randy Emmitt, Travis Howell, Mike Dugger, Bobby Ray Emmitt, Mike Barnes, John Dugger, Richard Nichols and Robby Dugger. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Barnes, Byron Steward, Jay Dugger, members of the Beech Hill Church of Christ, employees of Amerigas and the Oncology Dept. at Maury Regional Hospital.
