Richard A. Glisson

Mr. Richard A. Glisson, 75, a resident of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 at Crockett General Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
A memorial service for Mr. Glisson will be conducted Sunday, August 24, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Pastor Arthur Holland officiating. Entombent will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The McKenzie, Tennessee native was the son of the William A. and Velma Owens Glisson. He was the husband of the late Bonnie Kornmeyer Glisson who died in 1996. He was a former long-time resident of Michigan and Kentucky. He was a retired diesel mechanic for Case Tractors in Holt, Michigan and served our country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two daughters, Lou A. Davis of and Jackelyn K. Stevens both of Elkton, TN; four grandchildren, Debra Denison of Elkton, TN, Desiree L. Denison of Lawrenceburg, TN, Richard D. Stevens of Lewisburg, TN, and Charles A. Stevens of Elkton, TN; two great grandchildren, Kennedy A. Sutton of Elkton, TN and Lainney A. Denison of Elkton, TN; his twin brother, Ralph Glisson of Branson, MO; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Edward R. Glisson.
