Rev. Velda Frances Dodge

Rev. Velda Frances Dodge, age 87, a resident of Washington Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, July 27, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Private family services will be scheduled at a later date in Nevada. Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Perkins, OK, she was the daughter of the late Pud and Olive Hall Flick. She was a home health and surgical nurse in a hospital in Nevada as well as having worked in central supply. She was an ordained minister and of the Christian faith.
Survivors include three children: Phyllis Grainer of Mt. Pleasant, Betty and George Frazer of Yerington, NV and Frank and Barbara Dodge, Jr. of Montana; grandchildren: Randy, William, Allison, Vic, Cass, Fred, Bill, Ron, Howard, Doug, Jeff, Kelly, John and Kerry; great grandchildren: Reno, Michael, Bryanna, LaTosia and Bruce; numerous great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Dodge was preceded in death by one son: Larry Dodge.
