Rev. Mark Edward Rudolph, 82, a resident of Reynolds Rd. in Columbia, died Wednesday April 14, 2004 at his residence.
Funeral services for Rev. Rudolph will be conducted Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Apostolic Church in Kokomo, IN with Rev. Keith Mosier officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00p.m. till 6:00p.m. at Ellers Mortuary on Main St. in Kokomo.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2004, at the Derryberry Cemetery in the Rally Hill Community. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia from 11:00 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
Born in Herrin, IL, he was the son of the late James and Emma Black Rudolph and husband of Geneva June Purvis Rudolph. Rev. Rudolph was WWII Army veteran, founded and pastored the First United Pentecostal Church of Peru, IN for 40 years. He was a member of the Peru VFW and served 8 years as a District Presbyter in IN.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Marquita John Sparks of Columbia and Emma Zabel of Westminister, CO.; a brother, James Rudolph of Kokomo, IN; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers, three sisters and a son-in-law.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and sons-in-law.
