Regina Crabtree Copley

February 27, 1970 — April 25, 2011

Regina Crabtree Hopkins Copley, 41, a resident of Hampshire Pike in Columbia, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born February 27, 1970 in Dearborn Michigan, the daughter of Betty Brown Hopkins of Columbia and the late Joe Hopkins, who preceded her in death January 13, 2011 and the wife of Spc. Ellis Copley, Jr. Gina was a loving wife, precious mother and very special daughter. She was a very loving and caring person and very plain spoken. If you ever needed anything, Gina had knowledge of it and she made sure that you got what you needed. Her passion in life was helping and raising children and in some cases taking children in her home that had no where to go. When Gina and her family found Williamsport Family Baptist Church, she knew that would be their church. Just recently she received Christ as her Savior and was baptized by her pastor, Rick Points, at her church.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children: Erik J. Hopkins, Meranda S. Crabtree and Joshua M. Crabtree, all of Columbia; a niece/daughter: Alyssa C. Hopkins of Columbia; a brother: Anthony Sheila Crabtree of Columbia; two sisters: Jennifer Joe Hardy and Amanda Paul Cowdrey, both of Columbia.

Funeral services for Mrs. Copley will be held 3:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be special friends of Gina's husband. Honorary pallbearers will be all members of the Williamsport Family Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to Gina's Educational Fund, 1422 Highview Dr., Apt I-207, Columbia, TN 38401
