Rebecca Skinner Fitzgerald

Mrs. Rebecca Mai Skinner Fitzgerald, 88, a resident of the Rally Hill Community, died Sunday January 4, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fitzgerald will be conducted Wednesday, January 7, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Danny McConnell and Elmer Lusk officiating. Burial will be in the Hardison Cemetery on Joe Brown Road. The family will receive friends Tuesday after 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Williamson County native was the daughter of the late Carl and Sally Hinson Skinner. She was the widow of Calvin Felix Fitzgerald who died in 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of Brown?s Chapel Church of Christ for 60 years.

She is survived by five daughters, Jean Ethridge of Vicksburg, MS, Reba Parker of Jemison, AL, Ann Ernest Stanfill of Columbia, TN, Estelle Allen Wyatt of Slidell, LA and Elaine McGee of Columbia, TN; two sons, Calvin Glenda Fitzgerald and Roger Becky Fitzgerald both of Columbia, TN; twenty four grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a sister, Carlene Smithson of Franklin, TN; a brother Doris Skinner of Franklin, TN.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Skinner and Oliver Skinner.

Pallbearers will be Billy Stanfill, Rickey Parker, Ray Parker, Sam Fitzgerald, Tommy Fitzgerald, and James Reeves.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Cammuse and members of Browns Chapel Church of Christ.
