Mrs. Reba Nabors Powers

Reba Nabors Powers was born November 28, 1940, in Columbia, TN, the daughter of the late J.O. Nabors and Katie Mae Azyue Simpson Nabors. Reba had worked all of her life as a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Steven Bessent of Hendersonville and his father, Charles Bessent, also of Hendersonville; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Nabors of Leoma. In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Nabors and sister, Carolyn Riddle.
Reba passed away on Friday, November 30, at her home in Nashville following a sudden illness.
Funeral services for Reba will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will follow in the Brace Cemetery in Summertown.
The family will visit with friends on Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
