Raymond "Spud" Dugger

Mr. Raymond "Spud" Dugger, age 77, a resident of Southport Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, November 13, at Maury Regional Hospital
Funeral services for Mr. Dugger will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Randy McNeece officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19.
The family will visit with friends Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home
The Maury County native was the son of the late Roy Lee Dugger and Audrey Matthews Dugger. He was the husband of Delcie Luckett Dugger of Mt. Pleasant. He attended Enterprise School and was an Air Force Veteran. Mr. Dugger worked for Ford Motor Company in Michigan before moving back to Maury County where he was the owner and operator of Dugger's Auto Repair in Mt. Pleasant. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Gayla Steve Buchanan, Terry Kathy Dugger and Perry Melissa Dugger, all of Mt. Pleasant; eight grandchildren: Jason Angey Barnett, Breanna and Brennan Dugger, Chelsey and Savanna Buchanan, Cody and Jacey Dugger and Terry Wayne Dugger; 1 great-granddaughter: Shayla Barnett all of Mt. Pleasant; a future great-granddaughter: Shelbie Ann Dugger; sisters: Jessie Harold Grooms, Carolyn Wayne Eastep, Katherine Pruitt and Betty Eastep and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Berta Mae Clark, Dorothy Hinson, and Marie Calvert, and one brother: G.B. Dugger.
Pallbearers will be Bennie, Dugger, Rodney Ballinger, Kenny Ballinger, Chris Luckett, Roy E. Clark, Jackie Rowland and Wayne Dugger. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Whitwell, Tom Miller and the friends and employees of Dugger's Auto Repair.
The family would like to express special thanks to the doctors and nurses in the I.C.U. at Maury Regional Medical Center.
