Ray L. Maxwell

Ray L. Maxwell, age 74, a resident of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday November 9, 2012 in Allgood, TN.
Ray was the son of the late Clifford Lee Maxwell and the late Mary Bethel Hayes. Ray worked at General Motors before retiring as a lineman.
Mr. Maxwell is survived by his sister Molly Burgett of Mt. Pleasant and his brother Clifford Maxwell of Kansas City, Missouri. Ray was proceeded in death by his four brothers James Edward Maxwell of Bangor, MI, G.C. Maxwell, L.E Maxwell and Noel Walters all of Mt. Pleasant; and two sisters: Ester Lorene Ferguson and Elizabeth Shaw.
Pallbearers will be: Tommy Colvett, Maury Colvett, Clay Colvett, Lee Colvett, Jackie Burgett and Donald Burgett. The family would like to make a special thanks to Pam Smithmyer.
Services will be held Monday, November 12, 2012 in the chapel of the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 11th from 4-8 pm at the Funeral Home. Brother Danny Laster will be officiating the service. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Herbert Griffin Post 19.
