Randle ?Randie? Bobo, age 55, a resident of Columbia, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 24 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Funeral services for Mr. Bobo will be conducted Saturday, October 28 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Dwight Liles and Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. and from 1:00 P.M. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of Rufus P. Bobo of Columbia and the late Bonnie Prince Bobo. Randie was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a cum laude graduate of Columbia State Community College and worked as a chemist for Cytec in Mt. Pleasant. His favorite hobbies were woodworking, country line dancing, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.
Survivors in addition to his father include two sons:
Dr. Michael Sharon Bobo of Murray, KY and Daniel Rebecca Bobo of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren:
Ashley Bobo of Charlotte, NC, Christian Bobo of Murray, KY, Kelsey Bobo of Charlotte, NC, Clayton Bobo and Carson Bobo, both of Murray, KY; two sisters: Barbara Tosh and Laura Monty Gilliam, both of Columbia; two brothers: Roger Becky Bobo of Smyrna and Eddie Eugenia Bobo of Columbia. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Charlie J. and Lula Baker Bobo and maternal grandparents: Charlie and Laura Prince.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Bobo, Steven Bobo, Scott Tilghman, Keith Tilghman, Chuck Cafer and Donald Pickard. Honorary pallbearers include the employees of Cytec Quality Control Lab.
