Randall Gene "Randy" Norman

Randall Gene “Randy” Norman, age 61, of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, at the home of his sister.

Randy was born January 28, 1956, in Columbia, TN, the son of Ann Catherine Dial Norman and the late Gene Perry Norman. He had worked in the food and beverage industry. Randy loved the beach, and being outside in general and was an avid gardener. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was very strong-willed and opinionated. He was a great story teller. Being the only son, he was the apple of his mother’s eye.

Survivors include his mother, Ann Catherine Norman; sisters, Debbie (Mac) Palmer, Teresa (Jerry) Sullivan and Tammy (Robert) Hatcher; nieces and nephews, Jason Palmer, Lee Sullivan, Michael Sullivan, and Katie Hatcher; great-nieces, Ashley Jackson and Elizabeth Covington; great-nephew and the light of his life, Steven Michael Sullivan; one great-great-niece, Zoe Covington. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a nephew, Steven Perry Sullivan.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Joey Scruggs officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
