Randall E. Davis

Randall E. Davis, age 52, a resident of North Elm Street in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, June 23 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born March 26, 1958 in Lawrence County, he was the son of John H. ?Jr.? and Gaynell Keener Davis of Mt. Pleasant. He was an electrician and plumber for a private company in Murfreesboro and an avid trapper. Randall was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother: Tim Davis of Mt. Pleasant; special friend: Suzanne Wood of Mt. Pleasant; nephews: Wesley Davis and Logan Davis, both of Mt. Pleasant; great niece and nephews: Taittumn Davis, Justin Davis and Mitchell Stratton, all of Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by a brother: Gary Wayne Davis; nephews: Joshua Davis and Justin Ryan Davis.

Funeral services for Randall will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, June 25 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Jack Taylor and Rev. Frank Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Terry Curtis, Tony Curtis, Will Davis, Willie Duff Higgason, David Keener and Mike Murrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Flynt, Johnnie Higgason, Ricky Howell, DeWitt Whitaker, members of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, Dr. Larry Britt, Dr. Reams Powers, Dr. Steven Smith, Dr. Amit Choksi and Dr. Christopher Turner
