Rachel Lynn Rutherford

Ms. Rachel Lynn Rutherford, age 22, a resident of Running Deer Drive in Columbia, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2006 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services for Ms. Rutherford will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, Dec. 18 at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Born in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Dan and Marcia Boose Rutherford. She worked as the head photo specialist for Walgreen?s in Spring Hill and for Atlantic Pools and Spa. She was a graduate of Spring Hill High School, where she played flute in the band, and was attending Cumberland Institute in Brentwood to be a massage therapist. She was very active in the youth department of St. Catherine Catholic Church.
?Rachel was the sun & moon to all of her family & friends. She now sits with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. We are giving You our special angel.?
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Ranae Rutherford of Murfreesboro; paternal grandmother, Dora Rutherford of Toledo, OH; maternal grandparents, Richard & Mary Boose of Erie, MI; god parents, Rick & Sue Boose of LaSalle, MI; Aunts and uncles, Raymond & Kayleen Rutherford of Ormond Beach, FL, Dave & Sandy Rutherford and Randy Rutherford, both of Toledo, OH, Bill Boose of Erie, MI and Bonnie & Jim Smith of Maumee, OH; special friend & cousin, Rikki Boose and numerous other cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jonas Bell, John Handy, Lance Corporal Andy DeYeager, Brett McCord, Tommy Cramer and Danny Kramer.
Memorials may be made to St. Catherine's In care of the youth program, 3019 Cayce Lane, Columbia TN 38401.
