Phyllis Kent Totty, a resident of Columbia, TN passed away October 19th at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.
Phyllis was born May 28, 1925 in Park Ridge, New Jersey to the late Isaac Blauvelt and Emma Cecilia Kent. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Church in Murfreesboro, TN, the St. Rose Ladies Guild, The Seasoned Citizens, The Flowers Growers Garden Club, The Optimistic Gardener’s, and Federated Gardner’s Club of Murfreesboro, TN. She was a recipient of the Master Gardener award.
Services will be held Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN . The family will visit with friends at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia on Tuesday October 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Father Clare Hendricks is officiating the service.
Pallbearers will be Steve Bostelman, Tommy Hight, Jerry Rogers, Ronald Sharp, Jared Sweeney and Jack Whitley.
Phyllis is survived by her son John Kent Totty (Debra) of Columbia, TN; Her two granddaughters Jessica Sweeney (Jared) and Marisa Totty both of Columbia, TN; One niece Joan Malocsay of Bridgewater, NJ.
