Phillip Neal Douglas

Mr. Phillip Neal Douglas, 77 , a resident of the Enterprise Road near Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, February 19, 2005 at NHC /Hillview Health Care.
Funeral services for Mr. Douglas will be conducted Monday, February 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Charles Boyd officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery . The family will visit with friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 p. m .at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Charles and Mary Lee Attkisson Douglas. He was the widower of Lottie Hayes Douglas. Mr. Douglas was retired mechanic from Stauffer Chemical Company and a farmer. He was a former member of the Mt. Pleasant Lions Club and he enjoyed socializing and dancing. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Community Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Wendell Patterson of Franklin, TN; three grandchildren, Phillip Patterson, Emily Patterson and Evan Patterson all of Franklin, TN; nieces and nephews, Kay Rose of Evansville, IN, Sonja Waggoner of Hillard, FL, Bill Douglas who is serving our country in the United States Army and Dottie Wheeler of Nashville, TN; several great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Phil Douglas; a brother, Charles Douglas and a sister, Jo Yost.
Pallbearers will be J.C. ?Hoss? Holt, Jr., David Hyatt, Steve Lovell, Jimmy Lott, Randy ?Buzz? Floyd and Bobby McLaughlin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Martindale, William Allen, Frank Jones, Earl Hayes, Dalton Hayes, Harry Allen , J.B. Fox and Jim Balthrop.
