Philip Crews, the beloved husband, father, grandfather, and successful business owner, passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 72. He was born on May 30, 1950, to loving parents William and Joan Crews, in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Philip was a devout Christian a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, he was the song leader at Central Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant,  he dedicated his life to serving his community and sharing his artistic talents with the world.

In May 1973, Philip married the love of his life, Ann, and they spent nearly 50 wonderful years together. They raised two children, Brian (Cortney) Crews and Micah Crews. Philip was an exceptional father who always put his family first, and he was a proud and doting grandfather to his grandchildren: Zoe, Brody, and Marit, whom he loved dearly.

Philip was the owner of Crews Printing Company in Mount Pleasant for over 30 years, where he built a reputation for providing exceptional service to his clients. He was passionate about his work and dedicated to ensuring his customers were always satisfied with the end result.

Philip was also an incredibly talented folk artist, creating intricate and detailed miniature buildings, including historical sites, churches, and old log cabins. His work was admired by many.

Philip was a kind, generous, and humble man who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Ann, his sister Vicki Jones Pratt, his children Brian and Micah, his grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents George and Reba Bassham, Gerorge and Rosa Crews, and sister Rhonda Cross.

The family will receive friends and visitors on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A memorial service for Philip will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM with one hour of visitation prior.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Sandy Hook Five Arch Foundation, a nonprofit organization that was dear to Philip's heart. The foundation supports the preservation of the historic Sandy Hook Five Arch Bridge in Maury County. Donations can be made at https://www.sandyhookbridge.com/ or Heritage Bank.
