Our precious and beloved little angel, Persephone Carmelita Althea Davidson, cherished daughter of Samantha Davidson and Austin Johnson, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Monroe Carell Jr Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born on January 9, 2019. During the nine months and three days shared on earth with us, Persephone displayed courage, hope, and taught everyone she came in contact with the true meaning of love during her fight against Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
In addition to her parents, Persephone is survived by her siblings, Evanlyn and Iris; maternal grandfather, Glenn Davidson of Columbia; maternal great grandmother, Ann Marie Davidson; uncles, Lance, Tyler, and Eric Davidson; aunt, Makayla Johnson; great uncle, Johnny Morton; godmother, Aurelia Williams and Faline Williams; and another sibling being born soon.
Persephone’s family has chosen to celebrate her life privately, but will continue to spread her precious spirit and ambition to live, forever.
