Peggy Wright Sullivan

Mrs. Peggy Wright Sullivan, age 75, resident of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at her residence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sullivan will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Presbyterian Church with Bishop Robert Spain officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Churchyard.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 4:00 8:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Born in Gallatin, TN, on April 3, 1934, Peggy was the daughter of the late Jack Wright and Edith M. "Tillie" Wright. She was the wife of Jerry Sullivan whom she married on August 27, 1955. Peggy was much loved by all who knew her and spent all of her life serving God. She was very involved in the activities of all of the churches where she was a member including her current church, Zion Presbyterian Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her children: Cindy Robinson Ken Moffett of Knoxville, Jan Hayden McKaskle of Nashville, and Edie Dr. Bill Sutter of Columbia; brothers: Jack Wright and Billy Ann Wright, both of Gallatin; six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister: Bobbye Jean McCullough.
Pallbearers will be Bill Sutter, Adam Robinson, Robert Morgan, Hayden McKaskle, Lee Robinson and Jim Christain.
Memorial donations may be made to Zion Christian Academy or the James K. Polk Presidential Hall.
