Peggy Ruth Boshers

Peggy Ruth Walker "Granny" Boshers, age 78, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away July 7, 2012 at The Life Care Nursing Home in Athens, TN.
The Maury County native was born July, 13 1933, daughter of Cecil and Catherine Sullivan Walker and wife to the late John "J.W." Boshers. She was a homemaker who loved animals and her grandchildren, as well as quilting, making doll clothes, and helping others. Mrs. Boshers attended Allensville Baptist Church.
"Granny" is survived by her children: Peggy Roberts of Knoxville, John Kim Boshers of Mt. Pleasant, and April Ty Powell of Knoxville; sisters: Ann Walker Jones of Nashville, Betty Walker Edmonson of Atlanta, Jane Alleene Walker of Atlanta; grandchildren: Jeff Roberts, Adam Roberts, Crystal Boshers, Emily Jeremy Boshers Ray, Zachary Samatha Boshers, Taylor Rhonda Martin Boshers, Patrick Amanda Boshers and Peyton Miles; great grandchildren: Hunter Roberts, Baylee Boshers, Savannah McCain, Cayden Staggs, Courtney Staggs, Carter Chapman, Jakobi Boshers and Layken Ray.
Along with her husband Peggy is preceded in death by her sister: Carolyn Walker Kelly and brother: William Bill Walker.
A Graveside service will be held on her 79th birthday Friday July 13, 2012 at 10 AM at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
