Peggy Pruett

Peggy Gasser Pruett was born December 29, 1952 in Pontiac, Mich., the daughter of the late Delmar Gasser and Veleta Dibler Gasser. She was the wife of Royce Pruett of Lawrenceburg. Peggy was very domestic and loved reading and was very devoted to her ladies Bible study group at her church, Thousand Hills Cowboy Church in Lawrenceburg. Peggy always enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and sister on the farm.

Peggy went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 13 at NHC Hillview following an extended illness.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Royce, include her children, Andrew Becky Grech of Hendersonville, Breanna Robin Langley and Rebecca Jeff Bauer of Columbia; step-children, Angel Joe Holt of Lawrenceburg, Joshua Pruett and Andrew Diane Pruett, both of Lawrenceburg, and Aaron Haag of Columbia; sisters, Pat Tom Campbell of Alaska and Sue Dale Kellenberger of Mich; grandchildren, Jacob Grech, Jonathan Grech, Eden Bauer, Alexander Langley, Abby Langley, Mikayla David, Adrianna Langley, Keenan David, Emmy Bauer, Haley Franklin, Hunter Holt, Braxton Pruett and Walker Grech along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Bethany Haag.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Duncan and Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnesville Cemetery in Lawrence County.

The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the church.

Pallbearers will be Jeffry Bauer, Christopher Ray, Andrew Grech, Robin Langley, Aaron Haag and Jacob Grech. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Pruett, Andrew Pruett, Alexander Langley and Jonathan Grech.
